Serving in local government carries a responsibility to listen,become informed, and make difficult decisions that impact people every day. To help make difficult decisions amid conflicting perspectives, Andrew strives to follow these three core principles: open and humble community consultation, informed and respectful debate, and timely and transparent decision-making. One of the Council’s core responsibilities is to prioritize resources (your property tax dollars) to keep Squamish an amazing place to live for all members of our community, both present and future. He believes in having informed conversations, and understands it can sometimes be a challenge to get the information needed to have them. To help the community (and myself) be informed, Andrew created bcmunicipaldata.org – a site where anyone can explore and compare property tax data for any BC municipality from 2005 to 2026.
