We had a chat with Cydney Lyons about what the Squamish Art Council is all about. The SAC’s mission is to generate awareness and improve access to arts, culture, and heritage in Squamish.
We also discussed how they fund their programs, for kids and adults alike, and the many events they organize every year – including the Art Walk going on right now. Even though they are meeting their goals and mandates, what they need most of all… are volunteers.
