Tova Jamernick chose to run for council in Whistler in the most recent election, and although she did not get a seat, she vows to continue to be active in the community. Jamernik campaigned for affordable daycare/childcare and temporary employee housing. Both measures, she says, would help alleviate Whistler’s labour crunch.
